Legacy Private Investigations PLC is led by Lucas Spoor, a former county detective with more than 25 years of experience locating people and uncovering facts. The agency serves clients across West Michigan, from Grand Rapids to Kalamazoo, Lansing and the lakeshore.
Detective first
I started in law enforcement as a county detective, where I learned how a case is built: how evidence is gathered, how it is documented, and what it takes to prepare it for court. That standard still shapes every file I produce.
Then more than 25 years of finding people
Since 1999 I have worked in the bail bond industry. Skip tracing and asset recovery were not occasional tasks. They were the work. When someone stops answering calls and disappears, someone has to find them, and that was me. I learned how people run, who they stay in touch with, and where the trail goes when the easy leads dry up.
